Discrete Data

See Data Types. Any data that is not continuous. Can only have a finite set of values. Can be counted. Typically counts of small numbers e.g. count of pass, fail, red, white, black, good, fair, bad, number of defects, number of customer returns. Includes attribute data, categorical data counts, and Count Data. We use the Poisson and the Binomial distributions for discrete data
