This management workshop is a continuation of the introductory IT4IT Intro course, which introduced participants to the benefits of IT4IT, its basic principles and how to manage IT4IT specialists using ITIL and other common best practices for middle management and specialists.
The course is intended for CIOs and key collaborators, responsible for fulfilling today's usual IT assignments. We organize workshops publicly, used for the exchange of opinions of managers of several companies and organizations, or private, for managers of one or more friendly organizations.
Aims of the course
- You will get an overview of the potential of IT4IT to solve specific current tasks
- You will be prepared for the IT4IT Foundation, which is more focused on details
- You will receive instructions for the selection and use of individual IT4IT management tools
- You can build the architecture of the project, use the benefits and put together a team responsible for implementation

On the 1st day, we will go through the typical situations of the company's life in which IT4IT is a benefit - to accelerate the response to the need for business, increase empathy, increase efficiency, reduce the risk of malfunction and more. Then we look at the new tools that IT4IT gives managers in hand to solve these tasks.
On the 2nd day, we will complete the presentation of the tools and move on to the usual pitfall, which is the approach to implementation - we will show you how to start, what to continue, what to end, what to do and what not to do.
On the last day, we will show examples of successful implementations in companies that, together with IT vendors and consulting companies, participated in the creation of IT4IT, and we will add our own experience from the Czech Republic. We will discuss the issue of IT tools supporting the acquisition of data needed for IT management.
In the end, everyone will be able to measure the maturity of their IT department in the light of IT4IT recommendations.
