What can you do with one DevOps workshop?

Ready? The simulation has 3 rounds.

In one of the assigned roles, you will transform your team from chaos into a powerful cross functional division using DevOps best practice. Whether you position Business, Development, Test, QA, or Operation. Your goal will be to launch new products, while internal and external influences are constantly changing conditions and need to be addressed.

Round 1

All participants are quickly put into the scenario and new roles in the organization involved in the development of complex applications. Chaos will soon come. Along with poor communication and lack of collaboration, problems arise that result in poor business results, increased additional costs, and production delays due to longer testing.

Other problems will not be long in coming. As a result of all events, new orders are lost and red numbers fall.

At the end of the first round, an event review will take place under the direction of the Game Leader in order to identify problems and prioritize them according to the severity of the risks. Following the outputs, there will be a discussion on how DevOps can contribute to better management.

Round 2

The first tasks are based on the results of the analysis of the first round. In addition, we will start to deal with processes such as

  • Fail Faster
  • Service Virtualization
  • Minimum Viable Product iterations

and more..

These steps improve process maturity, strengthen teamwork toward automation, and build a culture within the DevOps team. All this has an immediate positive impact on business results.

Round 3

Here you are already building new and improving existing processes based on the experience and results of rounds 1 and 2. Participants will experience first-hand that the DevOps culture is the key to achieving efficiency in Development and Operations.

The results will not wait for you. Your team will improve significantly. You will reduce development time, as well as eliminate the number of errors that applications had before your intervention in the first round.
