Approved Trainer

Vladimír Ráb

For twenty years he worked where IT really breaks: he administered thousands of servers, designed networks for T-Mobile, built branch infrastructure from Ukraine to India and managed the migration of 60,000 computers for Société Générale. DHL contracted him into its security teams three times. He therefore knows testing from the side where its absence costs the most: operations, where every change nobody properly tested eventually lands.

What is his course like?

He does not read the ISTQB syllabus to you, he shows it on situations he has lived through: what "sufficient test coverage" means in a migration of tens of thousands of workstations, what an acceptance test that satisfies a bank looks like, and why the most expensive defects are found in requirements, not in code. As a Certified Ethical Hacker he adds security testing: a penetration test is also a test, with its own technique, design and reporting. His CCISO certification lets him present the same topic to testers and to the management that decides how much testing a project can afford.

His trademark is practical demonstrations built on a simple principle: maximum effect with minimum resources. No theatre with million-dollar labs, but procedures a participant can repeat in their own environment the very next day. On top of that, three things an online course cannot offer: teaching in Czech, groups of 7 to 12 people and dialogue. You can ask about situations from your own company and get an answer from someone who has most likely dealt with a similar one.

Kurz byl velmi zajímavý, určitě mi to pomohlo porozumět nějakým pojmům s kterými jsem se ještě nesetkala a nebo s takovými, které jsem slyšela, ale nerozuměla jim. Výborná lektorka.
